Domestic conferences have been held only in Seoul so far. Conferences being held in out of Seoul are being considered to encourage medical specialists in out of Seoul to learn the latest knowledge and experiences, as the type of infectious diseases are changed differently from the past and several new vaccines are being used. The KSPID has presented many researches on the international academic conferences so far, but will do its best to present more researches in the future. It is being considered in terms of KSPID's supports that younger members participate in international academic conferences.

Polices to improve quantity and quality are arranged, as the KSPID's official academic journal is published 3 times a year currently. As the first phase, improvement of academic journal quality is to be initiated. Acceptance and correction of papers are operated at the KSPID's website and peer view system is arranged, too.

A number of new societies are being established and also the existed academic societies are too many. Efforts to secure new members are needed accordingly, but schemes to increase the number of regular member has been arranged through website or academic conferences with the KSPID's good announcement and its understanding of those subjects in which non-member may be interested.
